2024 In Live Music

In 2024, I attended nine live music performances, including 14 artists (2023’s wrap-up is here). Only three (Alvvays, Straight No Chaser, and Taylor Swift) were repeats; the rest were new to me. Three shows were at new-to-me venues (Paramount Theatre, Seattle; BECU Live, Spokane; and BC Place, Vancouver, BC); the rest were revisits. From niche indie bands to the highest-grossing concert tour in history, 2024 was a wild year for me in live music. Coming up in 2025, so far:
