#OUaTrevisit: S7:E13/14

This will be posted to my Mastodon account; don’t forget to read my fellow Revisitors Katie’s and Cindy’s posts too!
We’re well into the back half of the final season and … we’re still introducing new random characters instead of using the literal pantheon of established ones?
Note: We’ll be taking next week off and will resume Revisiting in two weeks, on July 19.
S7:E13 Knightfall
“Hook confronts Captain Ahab over a magical talisman.”
Airdate: March 16, 2018
- Oh good, another one-off character.
- altHook is visiting his daughter in captivity, that’s nice.
- I don’t like sand.
- The ceremonial exchange of chess pieces.
- Roni was doing the walk of shame back to her place after her night with Facilier.
- WeaverRumple gives EloiseGothel the stare of death.
- Wait, why is primeRumple locked up in the altRealm? Is there more than one Rumple?
- “One small thing”, sure.
- (Already bored with Captain Ahab)
- “Maui’s Fishhook”?? Do we get to learn how Ahab acquired this?
- Surprising no one, Hook wins the dice roll.
- Hey, it’s Sera the Romulan spy.
- Henry is trying so hard to get through to Ivy and she’s just not interested.
- Is Tilly off her meds?
- Creepy Gothel waving at the camera.
- “Are you challenging me to a duel?”
- altHook is super easily manipulated by any rando who walks past. Sad, really.
- This episode is a backdoor pilot for “Gothel, She Wrote.”
- This is a rare moment of honesty from Ivy.
- “I’m the damn fool that shot him.”
- Tilly didn’t kill the baker, but it looks bad.
- And now Gothel has Maui’s Fishhook. That can’t be good.
- Tilly lives in a cargo container.
- Mochi, from Lucky Cat.
- Hmm, not sure I’m buying Ivy’s good turn now. Is she trying to break her own curse?
- Aww, I like Team Regina and Lucy.
S7:E14 The Girl in the Tower
“Ivy attempts to make amends with Anastasia.”
Air date: March 23, 2018
- How exactly does Alice survive all alone in her tower? Who brings her food? TowerDash?
- She’s being rescued by a giant troll!
- Is this the meet-cute of Alice and Robin? ❤️
- Nobin 😂
- Gotta have the walkies. Or just iPhones.
- Why can’t KellyZelena know about SamirFacilier? I wonder if there’s some dumb love triangle backstory.
- It does seem like Ivy is turning over a new leaf, so to speak.
- “I ran track for three years” in Storybrooke, I guess. Raise your hand if you’d rather have seen “what happened next” in Storybrooke instead of rebooting into a new curse, a new fantasy realm, and new characters.
- “Two jigsaw puzzles in one box” is an insightful way to describe TillyAlice’s mental difficulties. Might start using that one myself.
- The old “tape the lock” trick, though very poorly executed.
- Produce code 4152: McIntosh apples, small.
- The people at the grocery don’t remember her (anymore?). How sad.
- “Hippie troll-hugger”
- Robin stole Emma’s bug! I want to see more of the missing years.
- I wonder how the 5G coverage is in this realm.
- Oof. Never leave them in the cell.
- “I usually get the pizza at Belle Notte…”
- Why was Tilly’s backpack in the trash? Did she somehow think it would remain safely there?
- “I say we kill the Beast!”
- Huh. How did Alice do that?? Emma’s bug just shows up like Herbie.
- “Should’ve used walkie-talkies.”
- Oh dear, Tilly has the locks of hair from the victims. Is she being framed?
- The daughter of the Wicked Witch wanted to be Popular. I see what they did there.
- Ah, this is how the tower came to be wrecked when Regina and Ivy get there later.
- This version of Alice is quite powerful.
- Too bad, we could have used the car here in the trackless wilderness.
- It’s hipster Robin, back from Tibet.
- Oops, Lucy left her hat. What does Facilier want withRumple’s dagger?
- The red glow in the troll becomes a security camera. See, kids, omnipresent surveillance is *good*!
- “Margot” looks like the REI catalog brought to life.
